At the heart of MathTree is a desire to help all children learn math and enjoy this process. 

Summer of 2023 begins a new chapter in the life of MathTree! A group of teachers and advocates for children and education in Washington, DC, will begin growing MathTree in new and exciting ways. Housed in Northeast DC, the group will continue to offer math camps in the VA, DC, and MD areas AND the group is working to expand to offer camps to underserved children in these areas. The first partnership is with Roanoke Higher Education Center in Roanoke, VA, through their work with American Electric Power Foundation. The DC Group is looking for more partnerships like this to bring Mathtree camps to all children!
